Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is an industry-standard protocol that allows clients and servers to set up a secure communications channel. This secure communications channel encrypts and fingerprints the data, ensuring message privacy and integrity. Further, it also allows servers and clients to mutually authenticate each other. Netwerkes.com currently supports both 40-bit and 128-bit encryption levels.

In order to gain access to any of the services provided by netwerkes.com, a user must first be assigned a user name and password. To use any of the netwerkes.com services, the user must provide this user name and password in order to be granted access.

The netwerkes.com security model allows our customers to designate one or more system administrators who have the ability to create user groups and determine which parts of their application each group can access. The administrator can also add and remove users, change user passwords, and select to which groups each user belongs.
